The core challenge is one of sheer volume. Millions of experiences exist on Roblox, created by everyone from professional studios to a single teenager working after school, and no moderation team, however large, can manually review that much content in real time. Automated filters catch obvious profanity and known problematic phrases, but determined bad actors have long since learned to work around keyword detection using coded language, altered spelling, or references that only make sense to players already familiar with the trick. This cat-and-mouse dynamic means that harmful content rarely disappears entirely; it simply becomes harder to spot on a casual glance, which arguably makes it more dangerous rather than less.
There is also the matter of enforcement consistency.
